Anime composer needed4/4/2024 Not really a composer because the OST was done by multiple bands but it worked really well. I'd love to see more soundtracks like this in anime.Īlso everyone who did the Sonny Boy OST. You don't usually see renowned film composers working on anime and he only really worked on one show but damn does it sound good. Hard to post songs from that by themselves though because they work so much better together with the actual show.Īlso kinda Ryuuichi Sakamoto. The way The Heike Story combines the more traditional biwa music with a way modern soundtrack and makes it work spectacularly well is hands down one of the best things any anime did with music. Alright, ill take a look then Thanks Read or Die. Kensuke Ushio (Ping Pong, Devilman Crybaby, Chainsaw Man) is also amazing. Piano no Mori is about classical music and talks about composers. Only really counts as "of the past decade" because of how much they keep re-releasing berserk, but his work with Satoshi Kon is just too good. With the recent digital release of a bunch of composer Hiroyuki Sawano’s amazing anime soundtracksincluding a physical vinyl release for his music that fueled TRIGGER’s unforgettable PROMARE anime filmwe got a chance to speak with the artist about what composing for anime is really like. Personally I'd probably give it to Susumu Hirasawa. A lot of his hype songs do kinda blend together a bit though, and I still think Build Fighters is his best work but no one ever seems to mention that show when talking about him :(. ![]() His music certainly made me stick with MHA for far longer than I would have otherwise. Definitely knows how to make hype songs that can make every scene exciting.
